woven together
about 'woven together' - after hosting free workshops for the last 3 years in chicago and beyond, this offering naturally evolved into the 'woven together' series. i wanted to share a collective space with makers, creative minds, and folks that are interested in crafting together. in addition, i find it key to offer this as a free workshop to my community ~ as a gift to others through the collective memory of hands and craft practices igbo women have and continue to steward.
this workshop series invites folks (ages 10 and up) of all skill levels to learn basket weaving techniques to craft unique sculptural objects. the workshop is free with RSVP, and all materials are provided! follow ebere to get updates regarding future workshop here.
